Best laid plans

I was planning on a nice, picture-y post of family togetherness. However, I am, for some reason, without those pictures. We will have to instigate a search. Or at least go over to Mom and Dad's and recopy them from their computer, where I uploaded them, to my hard drive again. For now, here are a few hobblety-hoy pictures.

Cousins, playing legos on Grandma and Grandpa's bed. This was a favorite activity.

Moon and Icicles

Our icicles. We haven't had icicles this good in several years. Not sure if this is a good thing or not. But I like them.

Life has been pretty cold and snowy since Christmas. Which is alright, since it is winter and I don't really have anywhere I need to be. But oh, I am a little tired of shoveling. Mostly I just don't know where to put the snow. Our piles are just too tall now. This week is supposed to be our January thaw, with above freezing temperatures of high 30's. So we might get some snow reduction. Thank goodness!

Our house is back to normal. Except I have a nice big living room. I know pride is a terrible thing, but I am just so pleased with this room. I love it! I haven't hung anything on the walls yet, so I have several mirrors, art prints, and a wreath still searching for a home. In the mean time, I will just look at my blank walls and think how nicely they were painted by me.

This is after meeting the other night. Happiness!

I love your new room! Doesn't it feel wonderful to have a clean house for meeting? I dust about once every 6 weeks. (yes, that corresponds with how often meeting is here!)
