An Evening with the Roos and a dip in the Baltic Sea

After fika, we went back to the Roos for supper. Melanie had texted after we left Sunday night that Ingrid said she knew we were Mel's friends, but we were her friends too and if we didn't come to supper she wouldn't see us until she was an adult

Well we couldn't pass up an invitation like that. So we happily agreed to come for supper.

Ingrid is a big fan of Harry Potter. She went to London to see The Cursed Child in theater and then the Warner Brothers studio where the movies were filmed. She was a fount of knowledge about all things HP.

Viktor decided to take some pictures on my camera

Jakob loved a good game of UNO or memory.

This picture was actually from Sunday evening, but I forgot to put it with the other ones, so I am popping it in here. Ingrid wanted us to hear her test piece that she needed to play that Friday.

Another Sunday picture--Jakob and I played a lot of UNO.

He is terrific!

Some friends had said Mel could let us use the sauna, so we headed over to their cabin.

I didn't get a picture of the sauna, but it was not built for seven. Still, we made it work, cramming in and talking and getting steamy hot.

We then ran down the lawn to the Baltic Sea and took a freezing cold dip really quickly.

Mel took a picture of that, but all of us in our bathing suits is not a public posting kind of thing.

After our sauna and dip, we took showers and lazed around as everyone got through the shower.

And then back to our Airbnb and our warm stove

Interestingly, we decided we needed to drink a lot of fluid to replace the fluid lost in the sauna. As in a few liters each.

The bathroom was visited a ridiculous number of times that night. Apparently we hadn't lost that much fluid in the sauna.

Hilarity ensued the next morning.
