These are some pictures that fell through the cracks in the past month or so and were never posted. And I clearly feel the need to post every picture I take here.
It makes me feel all caught up or something.
So, some random pictures.
Elsie, while out mudding, discovered a frog.
Poor over-loved frog
Escape!
About to be caught again
This is when I told the kids to leave the poor thing be
So Elsie went back to wading
But stopped for one last frog pat
Barn sky
Cody and Owen
Field sky
Tori, calming Beauty (Alright, these pictures are over a month old if Tori is in them.)
We appreciate diversity in our cows. And they appreciate clover.
Daddy and Elsie-bean
Sparklers after meeting one night
Getting an ice cream and poutine at Bokies with the cousins
Levi and his mint chip
Elsie and her cotton candy
Gilbert and his super hero, Andy and his sherbet, and Orianna and her mint chip
Lily with her bubblegum
Breanna and her chocolate chip cookie dough
Lisa and Andy
Grandma and Elsie
And back to puddles
Red boots in puddles is one of the cutest things ever.
Levi leading the bottle calf around
Andy, trying to help Gilbert pull his tooth out
It didn't work. But they enjoyed trying anyway.
Wahoo! The calf broke free.
Owen's delight in catching it again. Owen is pretty much a little kid in these matters. And he loves how excited all the kids got about the calf tearing around.
Feeding the calf
Levi and Gilbert playing on the new round bale wagon
Eating
Hoyt, in his element
Ashley, marked by a Hoyt hand
Ashley and Abilene
Isn't this terribly precious?
Andy watching Uncle Owen
Elsie, reveling in mud
Stomp, stomp
It even got on her face.

It would have been tragic to not see these pictures. No Pictures Left Behind!
Poor li'l calf! Call PETA!
SO MANY of these pics many me laugh out loud. The best might be Cody and Owen on the 4-wheeler, though.
Blue ribbon indeed. Somehow I get the feeling you're actually IN the moment as well, not simply behind the lens. Sadly, lots of ppl stage the event, then click as tho documenting a real happening. And the privilege of a photographer is that when editing/posting the pics, you get to relive the moment again and again, right down to the precious creases in pudgy li'l fingers.
