The wedding party comes up the stairs
Waiting....
Cute Abilene
Here's the thing. My camera takes poor quality pictures in low light environments. I need a fancy camera. Or to turn the flash on. I mean either one. But I love the soft light!!
Monte played before the wedding began.
And as the wedding party began to walk up the aisle, Clover played "For Baby, For Bobbie" by John Denver. This was a song we heard often when we were kids and Clover played it a lot. It is a favorite.
I'll walk in the rain by your side
I'll cling to the warmth of your handI'll do anything to keep you satisfied
I'll love you more than anybody can
And the wind will whisper your name to me
Little birds will sing along in time
Leaves will bow down when you walk by
And morning bells will chime
I'll be there when you're feeling down
To kiss away the fears if you cry
I'll share with you all the happiness I've found
A reflection of the love in your eyes
And I'll sing you the songs of the rainbow
A whisper of the joy that is mine
And leaves will bow down when you walk by
And morning bells will chime
I'll walk in the rain by your side
I'll cling to the warmth of your tiny hand
I'll do anything to help you understand
And I'll love you more than anybody can
And the wind will whisper your name to me
Little birds will sing along in time
Leaves will bow down when you walk by
And morning bells will chime
Craigen bringing his parents in. I love that Monty is holding his camo hat.
Eileen and her baby
I love this one of Monty smiling at Eileen.
Love always makes me teary-eyed.
Tyler bringing in Mum.
Corey squiring in the girls
Hoyt taking his duties seriously.
Abilene daintily dropping rose petals.
(Just so you know, peeling a rose of it's petals is actually pretty fun. It is like an onion--layer upon layer.)
Here comes the bride!
Embarrasingly, the red solo cup of trillium and a yellow trout lily never got taken down from behind Tori's head there. We shoved them in the cup to keep them hydrated. And then when I was cleaning up after the flowers. I put it there until I came up with a cute container for them. But... apparently I forgot.
Abilene being adored.
A pretty scanty throwing of petals, but there are a few there!
Tori looking determined not to cry
And leaving her Daddy to head to her husband
The girls
Since they were having workers pray and speak, they decided to stand together off to the side so the worker wasn't speaking right to their faces.
Devon spoke
Dan spoke
Livie doing her best to try to get the wedding ceremony centered on the aisle. At the time I didn't understand what she was doing.
Fiona accompanied the Song of Ruth while everyone sang. It was gorgeous!
Fiona also schelpped her keyboard all the way north so we could have a piano in the haymow.
It was still a little cool in there, so there were some winter coats on (I'm looking at you, Farringtons!)
Singing
So this is what Livie was trying to fix--they were positioned central to the aisle.
Just imagine they were.
Our own galaxy of stars!
Saying their "I dos"
Monte Lerwick was the one leading the ceremony and marrying them.
The rings
Tori getting her ring
"With this ring, I thee wed"
"You may kiss the bride"
Adoring his wife
Adoring her husband.
Heading into their future, hand in hand.
Betty Lu reaching out and squeezing Tori's arm.
Tori went all through the ceremony not even crying once. Or at least not that I noticed.
Coming back down the aisle
Talking quietly just before the reception line started
Sister hugs
Sisterly love!
And brotherly love.

This makes me so happy!!!
I made a study of hands in these pictures. Tori and Lee's; Craigen's folks during the ceremony; Betty Lu's hand on Tori; and of course the newlywed's hands. LOVE it. Thanks for sharing. You did a fabulous job.
